Zeon Zoysia
Find out what lawn environment Zeon Zoysia is great for!
Zeon Zoysia
Zeon is the luxury Zoysia! With its dense root system and fine blades, it gives the perfect manicured golf course look. Zeon loves the sun, but it is more shade tolerant than any other warm-season grass for the Raleigh area, requiring a minimum of only 4 hours of direct sun per day. Zeon spreads politely but not too aggressively. Zeon is a sterile hybrid, so it is not available in seed form. Sodding is the preferred installation method.

Installations of Zeon Zoysia
Zeon is a beautiful choice for a lawn that receives full to partial (4+ hours) direct sun and gets light to medium traffic (dogs, kids, etc.). Maintenance gets easier each year as the roots knit together and make it more difficult for weeds to push through. Zeon should be kept short (1-1.5” tall) to perform its best. If it gets too tall, it shades out its own root system and thins out. It will go dormant in the winter with a pretty golden color. Care calendar.
